Dear Residents,

Due to some recent route changes there will be a few changes that will affect your refuse removal service starting January 1, 2012.

First we need to switch the alternating recycling weeks. January 4th, the first Wednesday of the year will be paper and cardboard pickup. We will pickup both bottles and cans and paper and cardboard that day with 2 separate trucks so no one will be inconvenienced. The following Wednesday. January 11th, will be bottle and can pickup and the weeks will alternate after that. A schedule will be provided for each resident.

In addition if a holiday falls on your scheduled pickup day, the pickup will be done the following day and all remaining pickups for the week will be on the normally scheduled day. For example, if there is a holiday on Monday, the garbage will be picked up on Tuesday, recycling will be on Wednesday and the next garbage pickup will be on Thursday.
