A local law creating a chapter of the Code of the

Section 1: Title, Purpose, and Definitions
1.1.(a). Enactment
Pursuant to Section 10 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, the

3.1 Jurisdiction.
The Trustees or their designee shall have jurisdiction for the purpose of
either taking remedial action towards any violation of this local law or to
prevent the impending or continuing violation of this local law, or to enforce
this local law or the intent of this local law, or to prosecute this local law.
3.2 Penalties for Offenses, Separate Offense.
a. Any person violating any regulation shall be subject to a penalty for
each and every violation.
b. The penalty for the violation of a parks regulation shall be not more than five hundred dollars per violation, and a separate offence shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.

of Trustees (B of T) meeting, the B of T directed the Parks Commissioners to
adopt this temporary plan, authored by the Parkland Committee, pertaining to
the Western Border Parkland (between Shoreham Village and Rocky Point) pending
the establishment of a comprehensive parkland policy, planned for 2010.
